[2020/07/01]
As a result of the suspension of general public entry for Tokyo Marathon 2020, 2020 Charity Runners have been allowed to defer entry to 2021 or 2022 and as such new applications for charity runners are not being accepted. At this point we can only accept donations; we thank you for your understanding.
Please support us by donating from Tokyo Marathon 2021 Charity Website!
Here are some voices from ACE charity runners who run Tokyo Marathon 2019.
We are holding running practice session 3 to 4 times before the race in Tokyo with a professional running trainer as a running coach. It will be a great opportunity to get the support you may need from a professional running trainer and to meet other charity runners face to face before Tokyo Marathon 2020!
After finishing the marathon, ACE charity runners can use ACE Special Lounge (changing & restroom). Some snacks and beverages will be prepared. Please come by and use the special lounge to change and relax after the race, and share your experience with your fellow runners! This space can be used to meet up with your family and friends after the race.

There are a limited number of active charity spots. If you would like to apply, please see the page below for more information or contact directly to ACE.

Coach/Running Companion of Japan para-athletes representatives
After working as a runner at work team in NTT West Japan, I have been working as a running trainer and supporting Japanese representative of blind runners as a guide runner. I will be supporting as a charity ambassador of ACE through Tokyo Marathon 2020 Charity. I would like to convey the joy of running and look for the future of children in the world.
ACA (Chartered Certified Accountant )
6 Star Finisher
100+ Marathon Runner
My marathon dream started with London Marathon. Crossing the finish line the first thought was “been there, done it, never again”. Despite this, I was on a high like never in my life. I started inspiring, motivating and training people for distance running and history has it I have trained over 225 people and completed 100+ marathons and ultras.
One of the best parts of marathon running I like is the fundraising by runners for very worthy causes and they don’t come any worthier than ACE to abolish child exploitation. ACE strives for a world without child labour and provides direct support to children and families who are engaged in child labour in India and Ghana.

Like last year, I will once again take on the challenge that is the Tokyo Marathon. I hope that this encourages others to declare their own challenges. I also hope that through the Tokyo Marathon 2020 Charity, there will be even just one more person who is aware of the work that ACE does, and contribute to the actions that will bring about a smile on the faces of children in the future.
